The Light

The Light

"The Light" tells the love story of a girl exploring her queer identity at the onset of the 21st century’s evolving negotiation of gender and sexuality. Told through a series of three music videos written and performed by Zhalarina Sanders, The Light is her story — at once personal and universal — of the complexities of navigating faith, sexuality, parenthood and self-actualization.
