Gospel History | Episode 4926/Segment 1

We’re continuing our year-long series on the Black church in Detroit, produced in partnership with the ecumenical theological seminary and Charles H. Wright museum of African American history. Since June is black music month, we’re taking a closer look at gospel music in Detroit. Our city has long been an important stop on the gospel circuit, and many gospel artists have roots here in the city.
