Severe weather photos from average citizens aid in weather spotter training.

This year also marks the 15th anniversary of the devastating Oakfield tornado. Every year the National Weather Service issues numerous tornado alerts based on computer models and radar. Weather spotters are the next line of defense taking action to help determine if a "watch" becomes a "warning." The goal is to get even more people trained to watch the sky.
