- David Laatsch: If I write a book, my book is going to be The Third Day of Fair.
And the reason for that is that every fair has problems, has activities that occur and build up to that third day of fair.
And then everybody starts to breathe again after that third day, and we get back into a normal schedule.
I also see that the third day of fair is when the boys have fallen in love with the girls.
The girls have fallen in love with the boys.
And by the fourth day of fair, everything starts to break up.
And by the fourth or fifth day of fair, the boys are throwing water balloons at the girls and the girls are throwing 'em back.
And it's that way at every fair.
