UW-Madison Journalism Professor Lew Friedland sits down to discuss his recent research on the Wisconsin media ecosystem. He says newspapers remain important in the state though their numbers decline. In its place, Friedland says both national and local talk radio, along with social media are saturating the state and swaying political opinion.
