Survivors of the sunken Indy are lost in the middle of the sea surrounded by an oil spill.

The attack on the USS Indianapolis was a deadly one – more than 300 of the nearly 1,200 men on board went down with the ship. Many of the 900 survivors are wounded, surrounded by a toxic oil spill, and harassed by sharks. Only 316 survive five days adrift on the Pacific before they are finally rescued.
