Have you selected your health care proxy?
That should be someone who ca make medical decisions for you if you cannot make your own.
First, pic someone who can make difficult decisions under possibly emotional circumstances, perhaps your spouse or another loved one or a friend.
Second, discuss your wishes regarding your medical care with that person.
Do you want your heart resuscitated?
What about a feeding tube or other treatments?
Finally, fill out a health care proxy forum and keep it handy.
Make sure to give a copy t your proxy and to your doctor.
