Jason Stein, research director at the Wisconsin Policy Forum, talks about what we might expect in the next state budget based on a recent analysis. Using numbers from the nonpartisan Legislative Fiscal Bureau, the state will have to drum up $2.2 billion in revenue just to maintain current state programs. The two items with the biggest price tags are K-12 schools and Medicaid.
