Sen. Lena Taylor weighs in on Gov. Walker's announcement to close Lincoln Hills.
Gov. Walker's announcement that he would close the troubled Lincoln Hills juvenile correctional facility was met with mixed responses. Sharing her view is state Sen. Lena Taylor, D-Milwaukee, who says the announcement is “a day late and a dollar short.” Taylor says counties should have more authority over where juvenile inmates go and advocates for changes to be made sooner than the proposed 2019.
