Gary Lyons Professor - School of Medicine and Public Health, UW-Madison Professor Gary Lyons explains what stem cells are and raises awareness of the multiple types of stem cells that exist. His research is on mouse stem cells. He tells of clinical trials being done across the countryas well as here in Madison using stem cells and progenitor cells to treat cardiovascular diseases.
