Folklorist Rick March, various polka bands, and devoted fans discuss the longevity and popularity of Wisconsin's beloved music tradition. In the 1998 Smithsonian Folklife Festival, visitors to Washington, DC see the accordions in action and why polka is one of the only music genres designed to just be fun. "Polka Unplugged" sessions show off quieter songs and the skill it takes to play them.
